This policy covers this website and the nine HangRui products. It is written to be read, so it is shorter than most, and it says what we actually do rather than everything we might one day be permitted to do.
What we collect
Things you give us. Your name, email address and company when you write to us or open an account, and the billing details our payment processor needs. Payment card numbers reach the processor directly and are never stored on our systems.
Things you put into the products. Prompts, uploaded references, documents you connect to Desk, and the output you generate. We treat this as your content, not ours.
Things collected automatically. IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and error reports. These are used to keep the service running and secure.
What we do not collect. We do not buy personal data from brokers, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other websites.
Why we use it
To provide the products and the account you asked for, which is the performance of our contract with you.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix faults, which is our legitimate interest in running a service that works.
To answer your messages, which is the reason you sent them.
To meet tax, accounting and legal obligations that apply to us.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Your content in the AI products
You own what you generate, including for commercial use. We claim no rights over your lyrics, stems, images or video beyond what we need to store and show it back to you.
Content you submit is processed to produce the output you asked for, and to run safety checks required to operate the service. It is stored so that you can come back to your projects.
You are responsible for having the rights to material you upload as a reference, and for clearing any samples you bring in yourself.
You can delete a project at any time. Deleted projects are removed from live systems immediately and from backups within 30 days.
We do not train on your content
Your prompts, uploads and generated output are not used to train our models, and are not passed to anyone else to train theirs. This is not a setting you have to find and switch off.
If we ever want to show specific work as an example, we ask you first and a refusal costs you nothing.
How long we keep it
Account and project data is kept while your account is open. After you close it, projects remain exportable for 30 days and are then deleted.
Messages you send us are kept for two years so that we have the history of a conversation.
Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires us to keep them.
Technical logs are kept for 90 days.
What you can ask us to do
Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong.
Ask us to delete it, or to stop a particular use of it.
Ask for it in a portable format so you can take it elsewhere.
Withdraw consent where we relied on it, without that affecting anything done before you withdrew it.
Write to the privacy address below and we will answer within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are unhappy with the answer you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Where your data goes
We are based in Taiwan and our providers operate in other countries, so your data may be processed outside the place you live.
Where data leaves the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Children
The products are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes the date at the top changes with it. If a change materially affects your rights we tell account holders by email before it takes effect, rather than quietly editing the page.
