Questions
Beyond the six questions on the one-page site, grouped by subsidy, renting and delivery
Subsidy and applying
Can I rent or buy before approval?
You can pay for it yourself. Anything bought or rented before approval cannot be claimed afterwards; to use the subsidy, order from a contracted shop once approval arrives
Can I apply for both groups?
No, you choose one. Group one, traditional equipment, has a limit of NT$ 40,000 every three years and can be bought or rented; group two, smart technology equipment, has a limit of NT$ 60,000 every three years and has been rental-only since 2026-07-01
Is the subsidy taken off the price?
In some areas the contracted shop deducts the subsidy up front and you pay your share; it varies by city and county, so the approval notice and the care management centre decide
Renting and ordering
What is the shortest rental, and when is the deposit refunded?
The demo minimum is 1 month; the deposit is refunded once the item is collected and checked for damage
Can I switch from renting to buying?
Demo rule: within 2 months, half the rent paid comes off the price; the shop's own rules apply
Can I pay when ordering online?
This is a demo website: it takes no payment and ships nothing. A delivered site can connect a payment service, and only items that may legally be sold online are offered
Delivery and afterwards
Our stairs are narrow. Can a care bed get up?
Use the estimate on the home page with the floor, lift and stair width. A care bed comes apart into head, foot and frame; if the stairs are too narrow it has to be lifted in from outside, or a smaller model rented
Can you take the old bed away?
Yes, on the same delivery, from NT$ 800 (example); anything that needs dismantling is quoted separately
Can you tell us which one suits our family member?
Health needs and suitable equipment are assessed by the care manager, an assistive device assessor or a health professional. On a home visit the shop measures the space, checks the route in and shows how things work
