Questions

Common questions on inspection, work, warranty and subsidies

01

Inspection and estimates

Is there a charge for an inspection?

NT$2,000–8,000 depending on the part (demo), credited against the work if you go ahead (demo terms)

How accurate are the website prices?

They are demo ranges; the quotation after an inspection is what counts, with the factors listed on it

Water from upstairs — who do I call?

First find where it comes from; we write the result down so both households or the committee can decide

02

Work and weather

Can you work in the rain?

Membranes need dry weather: rain moves the dates and time counts dry days

Quick fix or full fix?

A quick fix treats the leak and costs less but may recur; a full fix rebuilds the system and carries a longer warranty

Can you work on a rooftop addition?

A rooftop addition may be unpermitted; we never sell it as permit-free, and help file anything the law requires first

03

Warranty, contract and subsidy

How long is the warranty?

It depends on the method and is written on the warranty — often 3–5 years for a full fix (demo); never a lifetime warranty

Can I change my mind after signing?

A contract signed at your home may be cancelled in writing within 7 days, no reason needed (Consumer Protection Act, Art. 19)

Can you help with the renovation subsidy?

We can prepare the repair plan and quotation; each city decides, and we are not a government-appointed contractor
