At launch no maker's trademark is used as the main visual and nothing suggests we are the maker; trademarks belong to their owners

09 / QUESTIONS

Asked before an order

Terms are examples; adjust to the company's own terms at launch

Is there a minimum order?

It depends on the model: stocked items can usually be quoted in small quantities, and some ship in a minimum pack, stated on the quotation (demo terms)

How is the lead time worked out?

By supply type: stocked items ship once the quantity is confirmed; sourced and made-to-order items have an estimated lead time on the quotation. Put the date you need on the quote list and we check it first

The model I use is discontinued. What now?

Use the substitute lookup to see the suggested model and the differences; if it is not there, put the old code, a photo or a drawing on the quote list. Your engineers decide whether to swap

Can you provide certificates or test documents?

Whatever the maker provides, such as a declaration of conformity or a material certificate. Not every model has them, so say which one you need when you ask

How are invoices issued?

Electronic invoices, with the company number if needed; give the company name and number when you confirm the quotation (demo)

What are the payment terms?

First orders are usually paid by bank transfer; monthly terms can be agreed once there is a track record, as set out in the quotation (demo terms)

Drawings stay confidential: on a live site only the people preparing the quote see them, for quoting and checking specs, never published or used for anything else, and deleted on request. In this demo, files never leave your computer

Live fields: contact name, work email, phone (optional), company number (optional). This demo leaves them out and collects no personal data

Personal data notice (sample wording)

A live site gives the notice required by Article 8 of the Personal Data Protection Act: collected for quoting, order contact and customer records; contact name, job title and company contact details; used for the business relationship and the legal retention period, in Taiwan, by the sales and quoting staff; you may ask to see, copy, correct, stop the use of or delete your data; without contact details we cannot send a quotation. Adjust it to the company before launch
